The Problem

A food processing manufacturer needed to relocate equipment to a new site. Existing P&ID drawings were outdated due to years of undocumented modifications. Without accurate documentation of the current configuration, decommissioning and re-installing the machinery at the new location posed a significant risk to project timelines and operational integrity.

Concept & Planning

The project required a "boots-on-the-ground" approach to bridge the gap between legacy paperwork and physical reality. The plan involved a comprehensive physical site survey by Nova personnel to audit every line, valve and instrument before any equipment was dismantled for the move.
