Engineering Design Projects for the Aerospace industry

Nova’s mechanical design experience together with our understanding of aerospace tooling and equipment has enabled us to create a large portfolio of aerospace engineering design projects associated with Ground Support Equipment (GSE), supplying the world’s largest gas generator suppliers with tooling and equipment to aid manufacture, build, testing and the overhaul of their engines predominantly for the Aerospace and Industrial Power Generation industries.

For over 32 years the majority of Nova’s engineering design projects for the Aerospace industry have been associated with the introduction of new gas turbine engine programmes, for both civil and military aircraft together with maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of civil aerospace and industrial power gas turbines.

Nova’s design engineers are highly experienced in all levels of production support from small part manufacture through to large scale, high-value manufacturing programmes.

Our internal engineering design team has expertise in techniques employed in the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of aerospace components in a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials.

Our core tooling capabilities include the design and supply of aerospace tooling for:

Ground Support Equipment

Major Assembly Jigs

Automated Manufacturing Production Techniques

Special Purpose Machines

Military & Civil Aircraft Structure

Aero Engines

Aero Nacelles & Thrust Reversers

Detail Machining Fixtures
