Yes. While our office is based in Kingswinford, West Midlands, we provide mechanical design support to clients throughout the UK and can work remotely within established project workflows and approval processes.

Do you provide contract design resource as well as project-based work?

Yes. We offer both project-based mechanical design services and contract engineering resource. With more than 35 engineers available, we can supplement in-house teams, support workload peaks and provide additional design capacity when required.

How does the project process work from initial enquiry to delivery?

Following an initial discussion, we review your requirements and prepare a proposal outlining the scope of work, delivery programme and costs. Once approved, our engineering team manages the project through to completion, with agreed review and communication stages throughout.

CAD Case Study

Nova Design tackled a manual handling problem for a client moving cash machines by using CAD design. We created a 3D CAD model of a low-height pallet with a ball transfer unit to allow operators to maneuver ATMs with less effort. After approval, detailed manufacturing drawings were produced directly from the 3D CAD model, enabling the successful creation of a prototype pallet truck. This project highlights how our CAD design expertise provides a precise and effective way to turn an engineered concept into a practical solution.
