NOVA Design – BIM Modelling Service
Utilising Autodesk’s Revit software along with the Legrand Cable Ladder plugin feature, NOVA Design has been setting out the electrical cable management for a new process plant facility being constructed in South America.
The functionality between Autodesk Revit and Legrand plugin has enabled our BIM engineers to take the conceptual ideas into a full digital reality BIM model, helping to explore the interaction between cable management and process equipment.
The software has enabled Nova to quickly and accurately digitise the proposed cable management system and manipulate the routing to interface with the process equipment. During the digital construction of the Building Information Model an accurate Bill of Materials has automatically been created and updates to reflect the latest layout to ensure the physical construction will match the digital construction phase.
