We created a bespoke pallet truck
prototype for easy manoeuvrability
of cash machines
We use the latest software such as Autodesk, Solidworks and many others.
The Problem
Our client faced safety risks and manual handling issues when
moving heavy cash machines (ATMs). The existing process relied on
manual bars to roll ATMs onto pallet trucks, which was hazardous
for operators.
Concept & Planning
We proposed a bespoke low-height pallet incorporating a ball transfer unit. This design aimed to reduce friction, allowing operators to maneuver the heavy ATMs on and off the pallet with minimal physical effort.
The Solution
Nova Design produced a complete 3D CAD model and a comprehensive set of detailed manufacturing drawings. The design was approved and successfully manufactured, resulting in a functioning prototype that eliminated the manual handling risk.
